Store Owner
The Filling Station Eco Store is a small local business in Galway City, owned by John Tedders. First opened in July of 2019, the shop has seen great success in its first few months in existence, with local galwegians loving the idea of being able to locally buy minimal waste dried groceries and eco-friendly household alternatives. Stocking a wide range of products, from dried fruit and nuts, to locally produced natural skincare and bamboo toothbrushes, the Filling Station Eco Store has you covered for all of your environmentally friendly needs!
This website is a work in progress, we are brand new to the world of online ordering so we hope that you can bear with us! We will eventually have all of the products we sell in store available online too, it will just take time. We hope that you enjoy the website and thank you for visiting!
(Info from LL) Littlelamb bamboo breast pads are slim, absorbent and breathable as well as wonderfully soft against your skin making them the discrete yet healthy choice for nursing mums.
Available in two sizes so you can match them to your size and underwear for the ultimate in comfort and style. Because they are reusable you will find that you not only save money, you never run out.
These discrete yet reliable nursing pads are useful because they absorb the released milk, preventing it from leaking through your shirt and causing embarrassing damp circles around your nipples.
They are essential for all nursing mums.
Breast pads are woven rather than knitted. Weaving gets three times the yarn in the same space so they are really absorbent and not bulky but the down side is they will shed a few fibres for the first dozen or so washes. Woven bamboo also shrinks up to 10% but that's a bonus as shrunk woven yarn absorbs more!
Your order will be packed into paper bags, places into a cardboard box, and sealed with brown tape. We ask that you please either reuse, or recycle your packaging.
